Yellow Airway Buffs are used for cut and also coloring operations. The construction of the Airway Buff helps eliminate fraying and results in an economical, long lasting buff. When used with a perforated center plate insert, air passes between sections and helps the buff to run much cooler. The steel center and rigid construction allow greater pressure and faster cutting speed. This yellow material is starched and firmer than the untreated white cotton. The firm yellow material allows you to push harder and cut into the work for better, faster metal buffing. This wheel is 10 inches in diameter, it has a 3 inch center hole. It comes with a 3 inch center plate.

You must choose what center hole you need for your buffing machine shaft. You MUST USE 4 inch Buffing Flanges with this buffing wheel. Used with cutting compounds like BP-509, BP-401, and BP-TR30. These wheels will also produce a nice bright finish on steel when used with coloring compounds like BP-1025 and BP-335. Also works well with greaseless compounds. Made in the USA.

WARNING  Airway Buffs MUST BE used with the proper size Steel End Flanges, Center plates alone will not support the buffing wheel on the shaft. It is very dangerous to try and use Airway Buffing Wheels without the proper size steel end flanges.
