12 Inch Top Grade Flannel Buffing Wheel - GUITAR Buffing Wheel.

These wheels are roughly 3/4" wide and are available here with either a 1-1/4" arbor hole or a 1 inch arbor hole. They have 1 row of sewing around the center hole. This Flannel wheel is most commonly used to buff fine guitar finishes and instruments. NOT JUST FOR GUITARS! These soft flannel buffing wheels are for the finest scratch free buffing on soft metals like brass, copper, gold, and others. They are excellent for final buffing on lacquered products like guitars and pianos. Flannel buffs should be used with the finest coloring compounds like BP335, BP1025, Green and Red Rouge. These wheels are 18 plys of flannel sewn with one row of sewing around the center hole. They are roughly 1 inch thick. Like other full Disc wheels they can be stacked together on the buffing shaft to reach the desired thickness or used alone as a 3/4" inch wide buff. Flannel Buffing wheels can be too soft to produce a good shine on steel and stainless steel. 
Great as the final "last step buff" for guitar buffing.
