Greaseless compounds are use for achieving a deep satin finish on all metals. Greaseless compounds are also used to prepare buffing work by removing deep scratches, parting lines, casting marks, orange peel and other imperfections.

Parts prepared with grease-less compound up to 400 grit are easily buffed to a mirror finish by following the greaseless operation with a good cut buffing compound and then a final coloring compound. Directions for use: Apply greaseless buffing compound very generously to any type of cotton buffing wheels, including goblet, taper, and cylinder buffs. Apply the first layer and let dry. Then give the wheel another application over the first application of greaseless, repeating the process of applying and letting the layers dry. This coating process should be done until the entire face of the buffing wheel has been coated with at least a 1/8 inch layer of greaseless compound. The greaseless should be completely dry before polishing the metal part.

Greaseless is sold in graded grit sizes form coarse 60 grit up to fine 400 grit. Once the plastic package has been open greaseless will start to dry out and can not be left unwrapped for to long or it will become to dry. The used tube of greaseless should be covered with plastic wrap very tightly and placed in a refrigerator. Unopened tubes of greaseless should be stored in a very cool place or refrigerator.

    WARNING!

GREASELESS COMPOUND MUST BE KEPT REFIRGERATED AND SEALED WITH PLASTIC AFTER PACKAGE HAS BEEN OPENED!

If Greaseless compound is left open in the air unsealed, it will become prematurely hardened and will no long work.
